Q:留学先をカリフォルニアに決めた理由は？A:かっこいいから！（留学半年前）
実際に留学に向けての準備とか手続きを始めたのは6ヶ月前ぐらいやったなー
それより前は、留学形態はおろか、どこの国に行くとかも決まってなくて。
ていうのも純粋に俺がそういう申し込みとかの面倒な作業が苦手すぎて、先延ばししまくってただけやねんけどな（笑）
最初は、留学に行く！って決めても何から手をつければいいかわからんくて、とりあえず兄が前に使ってた留学会社を紹介してもらって、そこのカウンセリング行ってんな。
セドナ：アメリカナンバー1のパワースポットにいってきた！
Sedonaの魅力! どうもYutaです！ いや〜、学生時代にアメリカ留学して、仕事でもアメリカで数年住んでたけど 実際アメリカって行ったことないところめちゃくちゃいっぱいあるんよな！ アメリカには国立公園とか、世界的に有名な絶景スポットが ほんまにいっぱいあるんやけど、まじで人生観変わるくらいのスケールのでかさ。 グランドキャニオンなんか初めて行った時、就活前やったけど 就活のことなんかまじでどうでも良くなったもん。 今回はそんなアメリカの大自然の中で、 枡井ユウタのトップ３に入るセドナ（Sedona）の紹介します！ まず、セドナってなんやねん！？っていう人も多いと思うんやけど アリゾナ州にある、アメリカ最大級のパワースポット！！ 赤い岩石の山に囲まれた町が砂漠の中にあって 土の赤と緑、ほんで空の青のコントラストがめちゃくちゃ綺麗で こんな景色見たことない！！ 実は先住民のネイティブアメリカンが昔からヒーリングスポットとして 大事にしてきた場所らしい。 町中にも占い屋さんとか宝石とか売ってる店がいっぱいあって、 自分の「オーラ」を見てくれるという店も！（見える人には見えるのです） アメリカだけじゃなく世界からも観光客が来てて 日本の芸能人にもお忍びで来てたりするくらい人気らしいな。 セドナには、４つの有名なパワースポットがあるんやけど その一つの「エアポートメサ（Airport Mesa）」は、なんとディズニーランドの ビッグサンダーマウンテンのモデルになってると言われてる場所！ 言ってみれば、「ビッグサンダーマウンテンの本物」に歩いて登れちゃうっていう！ 僕らが行ったハイキングコースは、もはや山じゃなくてでかい岩のかたまり！！ 山の頂上の方にいくと、全く何も聞こえへん空間があって ほんまに自然と一体化してるんちゃうかくらい不思議な感覚になる。 てか人間ちっちゃ！！ ハイキングっていうと、日本では山登りみたいなイメージやけど アメリカは逆に若い子たちに大人気で、ヨガパンツとかで軽い格好で 普通にこういう場所に行ったり、砂漠とかを歩いたりするみたいに 気軽に楽しめるんよね。 あと、朝日がめっちゃ綺麗。 綺麗すぎるやろ・・。 ただ、この日たしか朝4時とか5時とかに起きて見に行ったんやけど 前の日に酒を飲みすぎて俺は朝日どころではなかった。 なので、今この写真を観て「あー綺麗やったんやな〜」と思い出しています。 そして、俺が一番楽しかったのは、、 ４輪バギーに乗って道なきガタガタ道を駆け抜けたこと！！ 当たり前やけどコンクリートの道ちゃうでー！！ これぞアドベンチャーやー！！！ GPSも通ってないようなところやから、店の人に手作りのマップ渡されてんけど 「この景色が見えたら右に曲がりましょう」ってわかるかいな！！ 案の定、同じような景色ばっかりで迷いまくったわ。 いくらバギーやからってこんなとこいけるんか？ っていうレベルの段差も「ガタン・ゴトン」って落ちるように走り抜けた！ あかん！この写真見てるだけでまた行きたくなってきた！！ 俺はこういう場所に行くと、一気にワクワクするというか 知らん世界がまた広がった、みたいな感覚になってもっと知りたくなる！！ アメリカにはニューヨークとかラスベガスみたいに眠らない街と言われるような 世界の大都会もあり、こういう大自然も楽しめるのが魅力やなと思います！

We woke reasonably late following the feast and free flowing wine the night before. After gathering ourselves and our packs, we headed down to our homestay family’s small dining room for breakfast. Refreshingly, what was expected of her was the same thing that was expected of Lara Stone: to take a beautiful picture. We were making our way to the Rila Mountains, where we were visiting the Rila Monastery where we enjoyed scrambled eggs, toast, mekitsi, local jam and peppermint tea. We wandered the site with busloads of other tourists, yet strangely the place did not seem crowded. I’m not sure if it was the sheer size of the place,…
